Process Disassembly

Stone and shape: Gray-white granite (main material) and black polished granite (heart-shaped inlay) are used to convey the tranquility and solemnity of religion through the natural texture of stone. The main body of the angel is cut into a “lying embrace” shape by CNC, and the curves of the wings and folds are hand-polished (with a fluctuation of 1-3cm). The heart-shaped inlay is cut with a high-precision water jet to achieve the “soft expression of hard stone” and construct the core narrative of “angels guarding the heart”.

Carving details
- Angel statue: A reclining angel is shaped with a semicircular relief (protruding height 4 – 6cm), the wings are dotted with shadow carving (density 200 dots/cm²) to simulate the feather layers, and the face and hands are manually refined (error <0.5mm) to depict the demeanor of “gentle gaze, embrace and protect”; the folds of the clothes are combined with line engraving + bas-relief to restore the drape of the fabric and enhance the “human warmth”;
- Heart-shaped inlay: The smooth black granite is treated with nano-glaze to create a “contrast of warm and cold textures” with the rough stone, leaving space for inscriptions and becoming a “blank area for memories”;
- Base decoration: carved roses, vines and other shallow relief (depth 1-2mm), echoing the commemorative theme of “love and eternity” and extending the emotional level.
