From simple geometry to detailed carvings of figures and buildings (such as the shape of the Eiffel Tower), as long as a clear design drawing or concept description is provided, the carving team of Shien Stone will combine CNC equipment with hand-carving to accurately present complex figures such as the Virgin Mary and angels, restoring creativity to the greatest extent.
Religious themes can be integrated into the sculptures of classic religious images such as the Virgin Mary and Jesus (such as carving the Virgin Mary Monument), matched with stone tones that symbolize holiness; for commemorative event themes, key elements of the event (such as war scenes, iconic buildings) can be engraved on the monument through shadow carving and relief carving techniques, and stones that fit the atmosphere of the event can be selected. Shien Stone designers will communicate in depth, sort out the elements, and perfectly integrate the theme with the stone.
For simple shapes (such as ordinary monuments), stone cutting, carving, and polishing take about 15-20 days; for complex designs (such as fine figure carvings, a combination of multiple crafts), due to the many carving details and repeated debugging, it may take 30-45 days. The specific time is subject to the design plan and stone stock availability. Shien Stone will clarify the cycle in advance and communicate the progress in real time.
Mineral veins can be selected according to texture requirements. For example, if you want to use marble with landscape texture as the body of a monument, Shien Stone has rich stone resources. When cutting, the texture direction can be reasonably planned to make the texture naturally connected. For example, the natural texture of the stone can be used to simulate the shape of mountains, rivers and clouds to enhance the artistic sense of the monument. It also supports texture splicing design to achieve a unique visual effect.
Limited by the specifications of stone materials, transportation and installation conditions. For conventional single-piece stone monuments, the height is recommended to be 2-5 meters (if it exceeds 3 meters, it needs to be spliced in sections) and the width is 0.8-2 meters; if it is a set of monuments (combination of multiple pieces), the size can be flexibly adjusted. Shien Stone will evaluate the site (such as cemetery space) and installation conditions and give a reasonable size plan.
In the early stage, we will provide detailed design renderings and material samples, and start work after customer confirmation; during production, we will provide regular feedback on the progress of engraving and polishing, and provide real photos for confirmation of key nodes (such as facial engraving and texture shaping); after completion, we will send multi-angle photos of the finished product, and invite customers to inspect on site, so that the whole process can be controlled to ensure that the finished product meets expectations.

Craftsmanship and materials
Sandblasting uses high-pressure sand flow to create a rough texture, which is suitable for large-area textures; shadow carving uses steel needles to create delicate images, and is good at portraits and landscapes. Choose sandblasting for roughness and shadow carving for fineness. Shien provides small samples for comparison.
Granite (such as the commonly used sesame black, etc.) has high hardness and weathering resistance. It will not deform or fade when placed outdoors for a long time (such as a graveyard lawn monument), and is suitable for outdoor use. Marble is beautiful and has rich textures, but its hardness is slightly lower, and it is more suitable for indoor display (such as a monument to a figure in an exhibition hall). Shien Stone will make recommendations based on the usage scenario (indoor or outdoor) and budget, and can also perform stone protection treatment to optimize the performance of outdoor marble.
Before leaving the factory, the stone is protected by applying a special protective agent to form a protective film to block the penetration of moisture and pollutants; for outdoor monuments, the protective agent is reapplied regularly (1-2 years); for areas where acid rain is frequent, stone with good acid resistance (such as some granite) is selected. Shien Stone has a complete protection process and can also guide the later maintenance to extend the life of the monument.
The advantages can be complementary. For example, the large area of the monument body is sandblasted as a textured backing, and the key patterns (such as portraits) are finely presented by shadow carving, which has both a rough atmosphere and highlights in details. Shien Stone's craftsmen are good at combining and applying. According to the design theme, they will adjust the process parameters to make the combination effect harmonious and unified, and enhance the artistic level of the monument.
The color of natural stone is affected by minerals. Shien Stone selects high-quality minerals to ensure uniform and stable colors. For dyed stone, we use environmentally friendly and weather-resistant dyes and strictly control the dyeing process to avoid fading. After installation, we provide good protection to reduce erosion by ultraviolet rays and pollutants. Under normal outdoor use, the color can be stable for more than 5-10 years, and even longer indoors.
There are options such as composite stone and recycled stone. Composite stone combines natural stone with environmentally friendly resin and has stable performance. Recycled stone is made from stone waste, which is environmentally friendly and low in cost. Shien Stone pays attention to environmental protection trends and can provide new stone samples to introduce performance characteristics to meet customers' environmental protection needs.

Installation and After-sales
For cemetery installation (such as lawn monuments), first level the land and make a concrete foundation to ensure stability, then hoist the monument, adjust the verticality, and adapt to the surrounding greening; for exhibition hall installation (such as figure and craft display monuments), according to the layout of the exhibition hall, fix them with brackets and bases, and pay attention to matching with surrounding exhibits. Shien Stone has a professional installation team that will survey the site on site and customize the installation plan.
Deep buried foundation + concrete pouring is often used outdoors (cemeteries), and the tombstone body and foundation are connected with steel bars and embedded parts; indoors (exhibition halls) are fixed by metal brackets and counterweight bases, and the fixed structure is designed according to the weight and size of the stone. Shien Stone installation strictly follows building specifications to ensure stability, and regular inspections and maintenance will be carried out in the later stages.
Shien Stone uses customized packaging (foam, wooden boxes) to protect the products and choose professional logistics for transportation. If there is any damage, please take photos and keep them, contact after-sales service, and the factory will re-produce and re-issue the products. For the loss caused by transportation, Shien Stone will coordinate the logistics claims to protect the rights and interests of customers. The re-delivery cycle will be based on the new order process and will be expedited.
Use soft cloth and neutral detergent to wipe it daily. For stubborn stains (such as oil stains and rust), use weak acid detergent (need to be diluted) for granite and neutral detergent for marble to avoid corrosion. Shien Stone provides cleaning and maintenance guides, and you can also make an appointment for door-to-door maintenance services. Regular cleaning can keep the monument clean and beautiful.
For minor wear and tear, fill with stone powder + adhesive of the same material, and grind and polish. For wear and tear caused by shadow carving and sandblasting, contact Shien Stone after-sales service and send a craftsman to repair on-site, re-carve, and re-sand. For fading problems, if it is dyed stone, it can be re-dyed after evaluation. Natural stone should be well protected to delay fading. Shien Stone has a complete repair system to guarantee the effect.
During the warranty period (usually 1-2 years), if there are problems caused by stone quality (such as cracks, broken edges) or workmanship defects (unclear carving, loose bonding), we will provide free repair or replacement; if there are non-quality problems (such as improper use, natural disasters), we will provide paid repair services.
